All About the Benjamins (2002)
Consideration of:All About The Benjamins (2002)
Top dog:Kevin Bray
Rating:R as a service to strong barbarity, pervasive language and brief sexuality
Starring:Ice Cube, Mike Epps, Tommy Flanagan, Anthony Michael Hall, Eva Mendes
Ice Cube and Omar Epps star in All upon the Benjamins, a story connected with two guys who are exasperating to get paid. Ice Cube stars as Bucum Jackson (wonder if that is a play on words?) a bounty hunter who is almost as rickety to the public as he is to his bounties. Omar Epps is Reggie Wright a crook that is not as bad his reputation makes him out to be. When he (Reggie) hits the tombola all of his problems should be solved, until he is targeted by Bucum through despite bail jumping. While making a thoughtless escape he drops the ticket, and his notecase in the back of a stock that is being used in a jewel heist.
Bucum Jackson has enormous plans. One day he would relish to run his own detective energy. The but unruly is that he is skint. When the area on Reggie comes up Bucum has a big sentence to make, should he credit Reggie or should he produce him in on some much needed bail greenbacks. The adventures harry high as the two try to body exposed what is going on with sixty million in diamonds on the line, and maybe start a fraternity neither on of them imagined.
This cinema has the look, and deem of another comedy- Bad Boys.
Most of the large screen is shot in Miami, and the scenery is all sea shore, and delightful locales.
This is Kevin Brayes second Directorial try according to IMDB. His before all was Beastly Garden: Superstars and Cannonballs: Live and on Tour in Australia (2000) which can explain the sound track that kicks like it won't pause. In all it was an enjoyable movie that is a larger adjudge than Next Friday.
